Early Bermuda Transportation: Mark Twain on a Donkey CartAround the turn of the last century Mark Twain fought against bringing automobiles to Bermuda. He did not live to see the first cars, which came in 1946, after the Motor Car Act was passed. Bermudians today rely mostly on scooters for on island transport - not so much on donkey carts anymore :)

These pages will cover transportation to and from, around and to paradise in Bermuda. They include everything from cycles to cruise ships.
