Tennis in BermudaSportive activity - other than golf - is varied and plentiful on Bermuda.

Here is a list of the most commonly practiced by visitors and where to do so. If you are interested in other sports, that are not listed here and you would like to find out where to practice them or just visit the facilities, please make a post in Bermuda's Forum.

Tennis (introduced to Bermuda in 1873) is very popular and most Bermudian resorts and hotels have their own courts. For the less fortunate there is the public court, W. E. R Joell Tennis Stadium, located in Pembroke Parish, Cedar Avenue and Marsh Folly Road, phone (441) 292-0105. The first tennis tournament in the Western Hemisphere was held in Bermuda in 1877.
